Claire Davies VN - Head Nurse
Claire is Head Nurse, she has
worked at PSP since 1993, and qualified as a veterinary nurse in
1997. Claire is a qualified assessor, and supports the trainee nurses
with their studies. Her favourite aspects of the job are assisting in
theatre and nursing patients in hospital. Claire lives in
Staplehurst with her Husband, Rob, Border Terrier, Taffy, and two rescue
cats, Peggy and Billy.
Claire's hobbies include, as much travelling as she can possibly fit in,
walking Taff's, going to the gym and also buying shoes.....
Harriet Iles SVN1
Harriet has worked at PSP since July 2007 and
started her Veterinary Nurse training in
September 2008 at Canterbury College, she is planning on qualifing as a
VN next autumn. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing and loves
the variety of work which the job has to offer.
Harriet has an HND and a degree in Equine Studies which she studied at
Writtle College, Essex. She has worked in Australia and America with
horses, she has also worked in Newmarket on a thoroughbred stud during
the breeding season and attended lectures at The National Stud.
Harriet grew up in Kathmadu, Nepal where her father worked as an
Agricultural Economist, she has a real love of travel and once qualified
wishes to travel more with her work. Harriet is a Nichiren Buddhist and
spends alot of her spare time carrying out SGI activities which are
working towards creating a peaceful society based on the values and
ideas of Nichiren Buddhism.
Harriet's lives in Egerton with her partner David in a cottage which
they share with their two cats Ruby and Indie, she also has a horse
called Fleur, a dog called Jade and another cat called Bilbo which live
at the family farm. Her
interests and hobbies include: practicing and studying Buddhism, riding
her horse, travelling, listening to music, socialising, reading and
baking cakes for work!
Amy Tompsett SVN1

Amy joined us in February 2008. She is training and attending college as well as Harriet and Kate. When she first started with us she rescued Nancy, a stray cat who had broken her leg. She is adored by our resident cat Eric!
Lisa Fearn RVN - deputy head nurse
Lisa Is a fully qualified nurse. She owns a Border terrier called Hobbs, whom she does dog agility with. She also has four rabbits, one of which, Darwin is a rescue rabbit.
Rebecca Fox RVN
Rebecca qualified as a veterinary nurse in Autumn 2007. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, particularly assisting with the operations,caring for inpatients and the out of hours emergency service.
Rebecca's hobbies and interests include skiing, dog walking, reading and socialising with friends and family.

Paul has just joined us a trainee veterinary nurse
Emma Louise Gordon - Animal nurses assistant:
Emma is based at Cranbrook.
She has been working at Pierson Stewart and Partners for 5
years.
She started as work experience whilst undertaking an Animal based
college course, then was offered the full time post after the course
finished. Emma has now taken an animal nursing assistant course at Hadlow college and enjoyed learning lots of things including anatomy,
physiology, management and husbandry. She recently sat her exams
and has another one in June so she is studying very hard. Emma's
duties include assisting the nurses in their work, in the theatre,
dispensary, inpatients, nurse clinics and the laboratory.
In her spare time she like to run and keep fit in preparation for the next Race for Life. Emma also likes to go to the cinema with her family and friends. Emma has two male guinea pigs Apple and Maize and a rabbit called Flopsy.
