Pet passport:
There are certain criteria that must be met in order for you dog or cat to travel abroad with a pet passport. Click here or on the Defra icon to check out the latest updates on pet passports.
Here are the requirements for the passport:
Pet must be micro chipped
Rabies vaccination
Blood test two weeks later to ensure Rabies vaccination has worked
Get a PETS documentation
Things to note in addition to the above requirements:
Your dog or cat may not enter the UK under PETS until six calendar months have passed from the date that your vet took the blood sample which led to a satisfactory test result
Your pet must be treated against ticks and tapeworms not less than 24 hours and not more than 48 hours before it is checked in with an approved transport company for its journey into the UK
We offer a pet passport package which will include the microchip, Rabies vaccination, blood test and the PETS documentation.
