Make sure your pet stays on top form with regular veterinary check-ups

New pets bring a lot of fun and excitement to the household, and you can have hours of fun playing with them, learning about their personalities and teaching them tricks. However, it’s essential to make sure that they receive lots of attention from a veterinary professional during their first few weeks and months so that they are free from any uncomfortable or dangerous health conditions whilst they’re still growing.

For this reason, we strongly recommend that you weigh your new pet regularly – at least once a month. Not only will this help to ensure that they are growing and developing as expected, but will also determine the necessary dose of worming and flea prevention tablets. Scales are available at each practoce for your convenience.

Once your pet is six months old, they will only need to visit us for a routine check-up once a year, unless they become unwell or you are worried about them, in which case they should be seen immediately.

We offer a Pet Health Plan that allows you to save money on preventative health care a long with a number of other discounts. This makes it even easier for you to ensure your pet gets the best possible preventative treatment.
We are able to offer routine consultations at all of our branches including the main hospital in Cranbrook, however all emergencies need to be seen at Cranbrook.
